Meet Lizzie

Hello! I am a Professional Counselor Associate. I received my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Oregon State University. I identify as a biracial, cisgender, heterosexual, able-bodied female. I prefer she/her/hers pronouns.

Originally, I am from Colorado. I moved to Oregon eight years ago to pursue a new adventure. I love the outdoors, my pets (Marlow and Moxie), learning and growing, and my most authentic and supportive people.

I decided to choose mental health counseling after many years spent developing my values, beliefs, and goals. Therapy has been an invaluable tool in my life and I hope to help others the way my therapists have helped me find solace and adapt through life’s traumas and transitions. Fighting for social justice has always been a passion of mine. Now, I get to make a change at the individual level through humanistic,  feminist-inspired counseling.

Much of my clinical experience has been working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault through a trauma-informed, anti-racist, feminist lens where we focus on client empowerment.

I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). I am also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and abide by their code of ethics.
